Renowned basketball player and former NBA star Vlade Divac was involved in a traffic accident on the Montenegrin coast on Thursday, after which he underwent hip surgery.

According to eyewitnesses, the legendary player fell off a motorcycle near Lustica. Due to the injury he sustained in the fall, he was unable to stand up and was soon transported to a hospital.
Divac underwent surgery at the Special Hospital for Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Neurology "Vaso Cukovic" in Risan, where he received an artificial hip implant. Aside from that, his condition is stable.
Divac’s wife, Ana, confirmed the surgery in a video posted on the social media platform TikTok.
In recent years, Divac has spent a lot of time in Montenegro, and last year, during a vacation, he was joined by one of the greatest NBA players of all time, Magic Johnson.
